Senator TG Guingona’s Crowdsourcing Bill will be formally launched tomorrow (August 7) and for it to gain more awareness, traction, and substance, they’re going to crowdsource the contents of the bill. To those who want to participate just go to the official Crowdsourcing Act Website tomorrow (August 7) at 8AM. You can then leave your comments and suggestions on how to make the bill better.

To those who haven’t been following this movement, Senator Guingona decided to put together the bill when he saw that a lot of people were completely surprised with the Cybercrime Law several months ago. Hopefully the Crowdsourcing Act will help lawmakers by giving them more feedback on the laws that they craft. I’m pretty sure that if the people behind the Cybercrime Law heard the public’s sentiments prior to passing it they would have voted differently.
